Tutor

Encouragement, love, and empowerment can enable
anyone to excel far beyond his or her expectations.
Because I offer this depth of support, I consistently witness
my students’ true transformation and success
.

“Sarah is an amazing tutor. She tutored me in Pre Cal my senior year in high school, and she is basically the reason that I passed. Before she came along I was failing. But she figured out a way to explain the material so I could understand it, and she worked through it with me. She is extremely friendly and just a great person to be around which made our study sessions seem to fly by.” -Jeramiah Loomis, Auburn, Alabama

“Sarah, you connected effortlessly with Rose. That connection allowed Rose to focus quickly on her studies and turn her grades around. Your tutoring was key to her acceptance at Alverno High School. Thank you so much!” -Timothy Boubion, Alhambra, California

What I bring to the table:

    • I consistently provide an encouraging, empowering, fun atmosphere where students thrive.
    • I am excellent at getting to root of low academic performance and creating an effective remedy.
    • I love accommodating each student’s needs, temperament, and personality.
    • I have enjoyed many successes:
      • I helped a high school senior with a history of F’s in Math pull his grade up to a high B.
      • In two months, I taught a high school drop-out Algebra and Geometry, enabling her to pass the GED.
      • Where several tutors failed, I helped a troubled high school senior pass the Graduation Exam.
